A Bittensor Genomics Subnet Is Headed to a Human Genetics Conference This Fall

Minos will present a new custom CUDA architecture and its approach to continuous benchmarking of genomic variant-calling at ASHG.

BitExplorer · Jul 26, 2026

Minos, Bittensor's genomic-variant subnet, announced it will present two pieces of work at the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) conference this fall: how it uses distributed compute for continuous benchmarking of genomic data to improve variant-calling accuracy, and a new custom CUDA architecture it's calling HelixForge-Pheno.

It's a notable venue choice — ASHG is a genuine domain-expert conference, not a crypto or AI industry event. Presenting there means Minos's work will be judged by geneticists, not by Bittensor's own incentive-competition standards. That's a different, arguably higher bar than most subnet announcements face.
