Welcome to BitExplorer News
What this publication covers, and where the Bittensor subnet market stands as we launch.
BitExplorer · Jul 26, 2026
BitExplorer started as a market data terminal for all 128 Bittensor subnets — real-time prices, on-chain identity, GitHub activity, all pulled live from the Finney RPC node rather than guessed at. This is the next layer on top of that: original coverage of what's actually happening across the subnet ecosystem.
What we cover
Expect writeups on notable price and volume moves, subnet launches and registrations, GitHub release activity worth flagging, and general market structure across the 128 active subnets. Every article that references a specific subnet is tagged, and the tag renders a live price/rank card pulled from the same feed as the rest of the site — so the number next to the story is never stale by the time you read it.
One ground rule
If we can't verify something against the chain or another primary source, we don't publish it as fact. That's the same standard the Markets side of this site already holds itself to — no filler quotes, no invented team bios, no manufactured urgency.
Where things stand right now
A quick snapshot as we publish this:
- TAO: $197.10, +3.53% over 24h
- Total market cap: ~$1.89B across all 128 subnets
- 24h volume: τ86.04M
- Network: 1,518 validators, 28,541 miners
By market cap, the three largest subnets right now are Chutes, lium.io, and Targon — tagged below with live data.
